Plinia punctata is native to Cuba. it's a highly ornamental Plinia with Eugenia like leaves. the fruits have unique flavour to them and are sweet. The fruits are about 1 to 1,5 centimetres in diameter and has one to two seeds per fruit. it has a very good pulp to seeds ratio. This specie is a slow growing specie and easy to grow in containers.
