This is absolutely one of the most interesting fruits we have tried so far. The skin of this chrysophyllum is Edible and has a nutty taste. Crunchy texture with a taste similar to nuts taste. The pulp is sweet and has a unique taste in the Sapotaceae lineage. This species grows in Altitude of 500 meters and may be cold hardy.
